The Scrum Master – Utility Digital Solutions role will be responsible for organizing our Embedded projects, running Scrum ceremonies, assisting in user stories, sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives. This is an excellent opportunity for a servant leader to coach and mentor scrum teams and align with other Scrum Masters within the Utility segment. The candidate must be proficient in Agile methodologies and working with teams of varying Agile experience and maturity. The Scrum Master will have experience aligning multiple software releases and proven track record of capturing dependencies from multiple software teams. They will work with product owners, Embedded software developers, business analysts, Embedded software quality assurance test team to align on all deliverables needed to meet our customer needs. This person will be interacting with an enterprise software team, a cloud SaaS team, and embedded software teams using Jira, Jira Advanced Roadmaps, and Confluence to align on acceptance criteria. Additionally, this position will assist in the Embedded software project portfolio duties for the Utilities Digital Office. Job Responsibilities : •Build a best-in-class team with a focus on accountability, innovation, and passion for delivery of high performing Embedded software platforms •Mentor Agile teams on best practices and quality of user stories •Drive requirements meetings with product owners and work with business analysts, Embedded software architects, and other scrum masters to break down and load user stories •Align the multiple Embedded software release dependencies with other Embedded/Non-Embedded software platforms to insure coverage and acceptance criteria •Lead team members to ensure product vision and goals are met and communicate Embedded software status to keep the team and organization informed on release status •Work through conflicts and differing opinion and provide solutions to a common goal •Liaise with internal stakeholders to include product owners from multiple product teams, Embedded Dev-QA teams, business analysts, software quality assurance, and DevOps teams •Manage the Scrum boards for the Scrum teams •Work with management teams on resource and capacity planning for release and project schedu Qualifications Requirement: •Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution •Minimum 5 years’ professional experience of leading Agile teams (Scrum or Kanban) with a proven track record of aligning teams and releases •3 years’ experience project managing digital R&D software projects at either the embedded software level, cloud or enterprise software. •Certified Scrum Master (CSM or PSM) •SaFE Release Train Engineer (RTE) experience •Experience using tools such as Jira Advanced Roadmaps or Jira Align •Experience operating as an Agile coach •Resource planning and execution experience •Project Management Certifications such as PMP •Previous software development experience •Experience leading global teams •Operating experience in a Scrum of Scrum environment •Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills to build trust and influence others •Strong presentation and meeting leadership skills to keep teams accountable and engaged •Experience with managing multiple projects and releases at a time •Experience in the software development life cycle with knowledge of software interfaces, technologies, and development languages Yes!
