SUMMARY:

Responsible for daily operation in Seafreight import.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Co-ordinate with origin offices and customers for order follow up.

2. Follow up on Arrival Notice and correctly process inbound orders in line with received timeline and orders/guidelines.

3. Prepare arrangement for clearance and delivery.

4. Prepare files and finish all tasks in company system in daily work.

5. Communicate effectively and keep good relationship with customers, colleagues, carriers, subcontractors, oversea agents.

6. Follow up customer standard operating procedure as required.

7. Produce correct and timely billing, and ensure correct cost and profit share from sub-contractors, carrier and origin offices.

8. Check the received invoices timely, enter it and close the job in operating system accordingly.

9. Check the price and quote to oversea agents and customers’ inquiry.

10. Reply to the inquiry regarding of Customs regulation and relevant rules.

11. Ensure proper and timely follow-up in case of irregularities.

ADDINTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

To take up additional tasks as assigned.

Back up for other team members when necessary.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

1. College degree or above.

2. Minimum one-two years Documentation / Operation experience in forwarding industry, the background for global forwarder is preferable.

3. Good in written and oral English.

4. Familiar with the procedure of seafreight import operation and forwarding related knowledge of Chinese Customs regulations is preferable.

5. Good interpersonal and communication skill.

6. Good team spirit, strong sense of responsibility and good work under pressure.

7. Good sense of customer service.

8. Working experience in international forwarding company or import operation is preferred.
