In this role, you will lead the import department, which comprise of customer service, products and documentation. You will be responsible for the profit and loss of the import team. You will also work with sales to identify new business opportunities and improve business performance.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Manage Section Leaders in monitoring of KPIs and relevant reporting requirements

• Drive business growth through active monitoring and P&L management

• Responsible for the recruitment and development of the team

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve overall efficiency

• Lead the implementation or upgrading of relevant systems

Your skills and experience

To be successful, you will need a good track record in leadership experience in terms of performance management and timely problem solving. You will demonstrate a customer focus mindset and strong knowledge of seafreight operations.
