What you will be doing:

• Owning the front driveway by assisting guests with arrival and departure and ensuring an exceptional level of service 
• Be familiar with all guests related activities and events within the hotel and be able to assist with directions to local attractions
• Assist with loading and unloading of guests' luggage to and from vehicles and ensure timely delivery of luggage
• Maintain presence at the front door as an ambassador of the property and brand
• Regulating and securing the front driveway by utilizing exceptional organizational skills and a commanding presence
• Assist Bell Team with organizing the hotel car to shuttle guests around Vancouver as required
• Follow department policies, procedures and service standards, including all safety policies
• Other duties as assigned

Your experience and skills include:

• Service focused personality is essential; customer related experience an asset
• Ability to lift up to 60lbs
• Valid class 5 Canadian Driver's License required
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and a professional presentation
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
• Highly responsible and reliable
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all time
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles an asset
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings, late nights, overnights, weekends, overtime shifts, split shifts and holidays

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.  The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
