Requirement:
Academic Background in Science: A master's degree is preferred; a bachelor's degree is the minimum
requirement. Majors in physics, chemistry, or biology are acceptable, with chemistry as the preferred field.
Native Language Preference and/or National Teaching Qualifications:
Native English speakers are preferred, and requirements for teaching qualifications may be appropriately relaxed for them.
For non-native speakers, holding a national teaching qualification is required, and nationality restrictions may be appropriately relaxed in such cases.
Teaching Competence: Ability to teach middle school combined science courses, with proficiency in at least two of the following subjects: chemistry, biology, or physics.

Responsibity
I. Teaching Implementation and Curriculum Design
Conduct full-English instruction for IBMYP combined science courses, covering at least two disciplines
among physics, chemistry, and biology. Design teaching units in strict accordance with the IB curriculum
framework, which emphasizes concept-driven learning, inquiry-based teaching methods, and the cultivation of Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills.
Develop inquiry-based courses that meet the
standards of the MYP subject group. Integrate real- world phenomena to create interdisciplinary learning tasks, aiming to deepen students' understanding of scientific concepts.
Take the lead in experimental teaching and scientific inquiry activities. Standardize laboratory safety
operation procedures and guide students in completing experimental reports, data analysis, and conclusion deduction.
I1. Student Assessment and Personalized Guidance回Monitor students' progress through formative and summative assessments, and provide feedback and improvement suggestions that conform to the grading criteria.
Offer stratified tutoring according to students'
learning needs. Support English Language Learners in understanding subject-specific terminology, and guide the topic selection and implementation of science- related projects in MYP.

Stimulate students' interest in science, and recommend and guide them to participate in
international science competitions, scientific research summer camps, and other enrichment activities. III. Collaboration,Communication, and Academic Management
Collaborate with Chinese and foreign teaching teams in lesson preparation. Share cutting-edge concepts in international education and jointly develop the MYP science subject group resource library.
Participate in IB teacher training sessions and subject group meetings. Interpret the updated requirements of the MYP syllabus and provide
improvement suggestions based on teaching practice.
Regularly communicate with subject heads,
homeroom teachers, and parents about students' learning progress.
