Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Secondary English & History Teacher to join our faculty in Chengdu. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching both English Language/Literature and History at the secondary school level, with experience in international curricula such as IGCSE, A-Level, or IB. The successful candidate will foster students’ academic development, critical thinking, and communication skills through engaging, inquiry-based lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach English and History to secondary school students, ensuring lessons meet curriculum requirements.

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.

Prepare students for internal and external examinations (IGCSE, A-Level, IB, etc.).

Assess, record, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.

Contribute to curriculum planning, resource development, and cross-curricular projects.

Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development.

Maintain regular communication with parents and colleagues.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or above in English, History, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Recognized teaching qualification/certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, state teaching license).

Minimum 2 years of secondary teaching experience; experience in international curricula preferred.

Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.

Ability to inspire curiosity and a love for learning in students.
