Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and inspiring Secondary English Teacher to join our international school in Guangzhou. The ideal candidate will be passionate about literature, language, and communication, and capable of delivering engaging lessons across IGCSE, A-Level, and IBDP curricula.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality English Language and Literature lessons for IGCSE, A-Level, and IBDP students.

Develop and adapt teaching resources to meet the needs of a diverse student body.

Prepare students for external examinations, ensuring excellent academic results.

Promote critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication skills.

Provide constructive feedback and monitor student progress.

Participate in curriculum planning and departmental meetings.

Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities, clubs, or events.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or above in English, Literature, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).

Minimum 2 years of experience teaching English at IGCSE, A-Level, and/or IBDP level.

Familiarity with international education standards and assessment frameworks.

Native-level English proficiency; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
