Job Description
This is a well-respected school in Suzhou, China, looking for a well-qualified and experienced Secondary Maths Teacher up to A Level. There is also a possibliity of it being a 2nd in Department role. Applicants should have at least 3 years teaching experience in a British-system school, either in the UK or internationally. They should hold a Bachelor's degree in Education or a first degree plus a post-graduate qualification in education.
A Masters degree would be an advantage. I/GCSE and A-Level experience is required for secondary teachers and experience teaching CIE 0606 and Edexcel A Level Pure Maths 1-4. An EFL/TESOL qualification is an advantage. The school are looking for teachers who are hard working, team players, good communicators with colleagues in addition to with students, open to professional and personal development, resilient, flexible, life-long learners with a passion for excellence.The initial contract is 3 years.

This year, class sizes averaged 17; the upper limit for class sizes is generally 30. As almost all students are ESL, every teacher is an English teacher!
