Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver dynamic, inquiry-based lessons in Science for secondary school students, covering disciplines such as Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
Develop students’ skills in scientific inquiry, experimental design, data analysis, and evidence-based reasoning.
Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and respect for diverse ideas and approaches.
Use a variety of instructional strategies and technology to address different learning needs and styles.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, offering timely and meaningful feedback to support academic growth.
Collaborate with colleagues in the Science department and across disciplines to develop interdisciplinary projects and enhance the curriculum.
Participate actively in school events, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or a closely related field (Master’s degree preferred).
A valid teaching credential/certification.
Minimum of 3 years of full-time classroom teaching experience in Science at the secondary school level.
Strong knowledge of secondary Science curricula, with the ability to teach across multiple scientific disciplines.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Ability to adapt and thrive in a multicultural, international setting.
