Our client school is looking for a Secondary IGCSE Physics Teacher to join the school August 2020. Applicants should be a Graduate qualified teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject area (Master’s degree an advantage), a minimum 3 years’ experience in the area for which they are applying, successful experience in working with students in the age group teaching and demonstrated experience in inspiring students in a stimulating learning environment. They should also have demonstrated experience of using ICT to promote learning, previous experience in an international school and familiarity with British education system is preferred. Experience in teaching EAL students is also preferred, as is the ability to analyse student data to support student achievement, demonstrated experience in raising achievement and setting challenging target and strong commitment to supporting all aspects of the school's programme, especially through participating actively in the extra-curricular activities and contributing to the life of the school community.

As well as a competitive salary and a 2 year contract, the school also provides shipping and relocation allowances, annual flights, housing and domestic bills allowances (and school assistance finding accommodation) and comprehensive private medical insurance. They provide free tuition for up to two staff children between the ages of 14 and 19 but don't have school places for those under the age of 14 (though they do provide a tuition allowance for staff children under the age of 5).

This is a selective, high achieving school that caters for highly motivated Chinese students. The school is located in the southern city of Zhuhai which is located on the western bank of the Pearl River. It faces Hong Kong and Shenzhen to the east across the sea with Macau to the south.
