To cope with the expansion of business, we currently have vacancies available at our office that are capable in arboriculture-related works.

We are recruiting self-motivated, proactive and high calibre individual who have the desire to pursue the career on arboricultural works for secondment to the Hong Kong Housing Authority (HKHA). 

Job Descriptions:

• Assist in supervising six (6) Senior Artisans.
• Assist in providing technical support to estate management staff on tree matters.
• Assist in providing technical advices on site for emergency tree works in public housing estates.
• Assist in conducting audit checking and monitoring the tree works in respect of tree risk assessment and tree remedial works contracts.
• Assist in collating and consolidating tree data for uploading to Enterprise Tree Management System and Geographic Information System.
• Assist in organising tree related training and activities in public housing estates.
• Perform any other duties as required.

Requirements:

• Have Level 2 / Grade E or above in five (5) subjects in Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; and
• Have met the language proficiency requirements of ‘Level 2’ or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSE or HKCEE, or equivalent; and
• Possess a recognized certificate/ diploma in horticulture/ landscape/ arboriculture or related field equivalent to the standard of Level 3 or above in Hong Kong Qualification Framework; and
• Possess a valid professional qualification in arboriculture, such as Certified Arborist of International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), Technician or above of Arboricultural Association (UK), or equivalent; and
• Have successfully undertaken the training programmes such as Tree Risk Assessment Qualification organized by the ISA or Professional Tree Inspection by Lantra Award, or equivalent; and  
• Have at least three (3) years’ post-professional qualification working experience in horticulture/ landscape/ arboriculture or related field; and
• Possess a valid certificate on Occupational Safety and Health in Arboriculture; and
• Must be familiar with the application of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, etc. and have the knowledge in the operation of Geographic Information System; and
• Immediate availability is preferred.

The monthly salary for this position is $24,256.
