Job Description

Main Objective of this postioin:
As section lead of Global Assignment Management - Hub Asia China Inbounds Consultation, you and your working group is responsible that assignment management operation are adhere to company policies and legal requirements in China. You are leading consultation of assignees and their families during all phases of their assignment in China, and at same time you are the advisor to local HR Business Partners for China Inbounds Assignment related topics.
Main tasks:
Session Lead of Assignment Consultation for China Inbounds:
- Ensure assignment management under adherence to the respective processes, policies and compliance requirement
- Consult and make decisions on escalated/special assignment cases
- Allocate tasks and monitor progress/status
- Evaluate staff performance and work out individualized career development plan
- Analyse GAM reports, dashboard and other data source to help business unit to gain deep insight and support decision-making
- Monitor data’s accuracy in time manner to support data analysing and reporting, provide analysis for process improvements, policy changes, and further innovations
Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure all operations are compliant and are in line with corporate policies and statutory requirement
- Standardize GAM operations and processes in order to fulfil the internal compliance and risk control requirement
- Proactively recognize risks and take appropriate steps to mitigate the risk together with both HQ GAM and local HR team etc.
Knowledge Transfer & Process Optimization
- Align Policy and Process topics with other HRS/GS colleagues and transfer related knowledge within team
- Collect and regularly provide feedback/suggestion to CoC and Assignment Administration for process optimization, and ensure GAM Policy & Processes are comply with local legal regulations.
- Participate general HR discussion & provide assignment management related input
- Drive process optimization to increase operational efficiency.
Ad-Hoc Project
- Lead/Co-Lead local assignment related projects
- Set up assignment management related process in new JV/Entity/project, if any
- Participate global HRS/GS projects and provide Hub Asia input
- Represent GAM in (cross-) departmental HR initiatives, projects and procedures
- Support HR team and business by ad-hoc task
