- Position Details
The Security Manager is responsible for deploying and developing Security policy and best practices. Collaborates with BU and site leads to properly manage Security risks, to sustain the operation and support growth. Manage to meet regulatory requirements, protects employees & company, and makes Lumentum a great workplace
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance/expertise, leadership, and oversight to facilities relevant to Security excellent execution and performance.
- Identify, implement, develop Security best practices and risk- based management systems
- Collaborate with site leads at various locations, support business growth, provide solutions, and mitigate risks. Resolve relevant Security problems, questions and concerns.
- Lead and manage on-going improvements on Security practices and processes at both existing and new facilities.
- Retain and develop capabilities of Security teams.
- Ensure the compliance with Corporate standards and applicable laws, rules, and regulations; monitor the compliance with these areas.
- Evaluate Security performance with periodical audits, reviews and follow-ups.
- Lead investigation of accidents and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented
- Security certifications & customer audits, e.g. CT-PAT, Cisco etc.
- Provide Annual Operating Plan for designated area of responsibility and tracks completions. Monitors variance against budget on an ongoing basis.
- Facilitate the kind and type of organization needed to effect improvements, reduce costs and enhance efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or above, majored in engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years relevant work experience, and manager
- Knowledge of Security Management system, include office physical security, access control system, security investigation and incidents investigation
- Understand environmental and sustainability standard such as ISO14001 & OHSAS system, carbon emission, waste management, green office design etc.
- Preferred Credentials: Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or ISO14001/OHSAS18001/CT-PAT lead auditor
- Sound understanding of national and local regulation, standard and requirements in Security & EHS.
- Self-motivated, able to handle difficult and multiple tasks with good time management/priority setting skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Use logic to analyze or identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts associated with information or data.
- Good command of English in writing and verbal communication.
- Mature, open minded, self-driven and self-motivated
- Familiar with PC, MS Office,
- Ability to travel as needed
