Qian Kun Futures (“Qian Kun”) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Beijing Gao Hua Securities (“Gao Hua”) since November 2012. With Goldman Sachs as the long term strategic alliance partner of Gao Hua, Qian Kun is able to leverage the network, training, and resources from both Goldman Sachs and Gao Hua to provide a seamless platform in servicing our global and domestic institutional clients in China. Qian Kun is a trading and clearing member of China Financial Futures Exchange, Shanghai Futures Exchange, Dalian Commodity Exchange and Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange. Qian Kun performs futures brokerage business for listed financial and commodities futures in China

Securities Division is front and center of Qian Kun Futures and its business. As revenue producer for the firm, Securities Division is responsible for market development and business growth through providing outstanding services to our clients and driving the firm’s overall strategies, new products and systems. As a member of the Securities Division, the candidate will engage in different aspects including Trade Execution, Client Servicing and strategic projects. Roles and responsibilities will grow as the candidate progress his/her career in our firm. There will be extensive internal communication with divisions in Qian Kun and Gao Hua, as well as external communication with clients. We are looking for a highly motivated and professional individual, who is a team player. This person should have excellent client service attitude and be able to support and advise international clients in the long run. Additionally, the role will require good interpersonal and communication skills with clients and professionals across the firm.

Responsibilities
  • Trade Execution
  • Prepare and compile pitching materials to clients
  • Prepare and compile market data and intelligence for the team
  • Execute and manage steps in the life cycle of a futures trade flow cycle
  • Communicate internally across divisions and externally with Clients
  • Client onboarding
  • Ad hoc projects as per assigned

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient in both English and Mandarin, able to conduct professional conversations, read and write
  • Diligent and detail oriented
  • Able to adapt to first tier global investment bank culture
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated team player, responsible and accountable
  • Able to multi-task and work under pressure Strong sense of work ethics, professionalism and high compliance standard
  • Preferably has passed China Futures Association exams
