Job Description

Intel Product Assurance and Security (IPAS) is responsible for implementing and operationalizing proactive security and risk-prioritized measures for all of Intel's products. The IPAS team is also chartered with understanding the next generation of security threats and technologies, while guiding future research and architecture decisions to secure Intel's platforms while fostering a security first culture into Intel's product development and strategic practices.

The IPAS team is chartered with building and maintaining customer trust through unparalleled security, privacy and assurance of Intel products. This team drives security and assurance governance, identifies emerging threats, secures existing products through mitigations and defines and initiates future security innovations for Intel products.
IPAS is looking for an industry technology leader with significant experience in assessment and development of hardware security solutions. Candidate will help lead the creation of cutting-edge security mitigations against sophisticated security threats, including threats requiring physical presence.

In this role responsibilities include, although not limited to:

  • Proactive research driven by emerging threat/attack trends in key areas like Secure Boot, glitching, reverse engineering, and Side Channel Attacks
  • Reactive research triggered by external reports against our products
  • Performing security threat models
  • Work with architects on feature scoping and approvals, feasibility studies, design tradeoff analysis, IP Vendor selection.
  • Developing and deploying state-of-the-art hardware security technologies
  • Mentoring and coaching less experienced team members


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • The candidate must have a MS/PhD in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering and 15+ years of experience in the industry.
  • 7+ years of strong background in computer architecture, memory, networks, systems architecture

  • Ability to influence across multiple functional teams and levels of management through relationship and network building
  • Ability to decompose complex technical problems and issues in a understandable form across a wide range of knowledge levels.
  • Proven conflict resolution and mediation skills
  • Proven problem solving and decision making skills

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$201,640.00-$322,920.00
