Intel Product Assurance and Security (IPAS) is responsible for implementing and operationalizing proactive security and risk-prioritized measures for all of Intel's products. The IPAS team is also chartered with understanding the next generation of security threats and technologies, while guiding future research and architecture decisions to secure Intel's platforms while fostering a security first culture into Intel's product development and strategic practices.
During the internship the candidate will be looking into specific use cases, exploring novel compiler optimization designs and tackling the requirements for enabling these both in user and kernel spaces, and responsible for proposing approaches, while also in charge of the actual implementation.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
The candidate must be pursuing a MS or PhD in Computer Science of related field with minimum 6+ months of experience in the following areas:
Systems SecurityX86 Assembly, C and C++ languages
Preferred Requirements:
Experience working with compilers (LLVM or GCC)
Experience collaborating with open source projects

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$52,000.00-$147,000.00

Work Model for this Role
This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
