Job Description

The Corporate Long-Term Retention (LTR) program is looking for an experienced engineer to be part of the LTR Engineering organization. The LTR group supports products (post-launch). In this position, the employee will work with senior engineers from different business groups across the company to enable, test, validate, and debug/troubleshoot products and platforms to accomplish the product security goals.

The candidate must be familiar with hardware and software validation across different systems configurations. The candidate will work in the post-silicon validation environment to define and execute validation plans and data analysis. The candidate must understand CPU architecture, validation methodologies, and processes. The candidate needs to be a quick learner and able to adapt and troubleshoot various products and platforms. Do the assessment of past security vulnerabilities and their mitigations. Development of test plans to determine the conditions to be checked. Write or port tests, scripts, tools, and checkers to validate the test plan conditions. Develop and apply coverage metrics to ensure completeness of validation across products.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master in Engineering (e.g., software engineering, electronics, electrical, computer science, or related engineering fields).
  • Advance Engineering knowledge
  • 2+ years of working experience.
  • Knowledge in Linux, Windows, and Open Source software and computer architecture.
  • Experience or coursework in Hardware Security, preferably in microprocessors.
  • Experience in post-silicon validation and overall system debug process.
  • Must have programming skills (e.g. Bash, Powershell, Command line, Python, Perl, C, C++).


Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced Engineering knowledge, BSc/MSc engineering degree (e.g., Electrical, Electronics, Computer science or related field), 2+ years of working experience (System debug and validation), programming skills in C++, C, Python, PERL, Bash).
  • Experience in: hardware, software debugging skills, System Architecture - Hardware/Firmware/BIOS
