Seeking a newly graduated or experienced Art/English Teacher Working
School in Shenzhen City, China Course: IGCSE Art & Design

Preferably:

- Bachelor’s degree from an recognized institute in Fine Arts, Illustration, Design, Visual Communication, or arts related major.

- TEFL, CELTA or equivalent certificate in teaching ESL is a plus but not must.

- Knowledge and experience with IGCSE, A-Level courses, IB, or AP courses is a plus.

- Teaching experience in foreign country, such as in Asia, is preferred.

Duty:

- Teaching Year-10 students about principles and theories in art in English.
- Teaching at least 16 – 20 sessions per week, including office hours.

- Working with Chinese students who have ESL 2 (beginner) or below proficiency of English.

- Utilizing Arts as a mean to learn English and to be expressive in oral communication.

- Plan yearly curriculum in Arts & Design according to IGCSE guidelines.

- Guiding students to complete personalized portfolios at the end of academic year.

- Tutoring students after classes for English and course contents as needed.

Salary:

- Starting with $14,000 RMB/month or based on your experience.

- Free housing on campus with paid utilities up to $500; and $400 RMB food allowance per month at the school canteen.

- Paid spring vacation (Chinese New Year break); summer vacation is paid if the annual contract is retained or renewed.

- USD $1,000 for air flight stipend at the end of contract.

- Qualified candidate who is able to sign a two-year contract earns a priority.
