Position Scope: The Segment Head of Protection and Automation Systems for Energy Automation is responsible for the overall direction and management of complete P&L including Order Intake, Revenue, Manufacturing, Engineering, Customer services and projects team through designated functional managers, ensuring consistency with established processes, efficiency for smooth intake, execution of projects and customer satisfaction. This role will require a deep understanding of our business, market trends, customers' needs and a passion to drive growth and performance. Position Responsibilities: Develop a deep understanding of key market segments – Transmission and distribution utilities, thermal and renewable generation, industry and infrastructure verticals – including segment drivers, market potential, buying behavior etc. Strive to improve market share by building strong rapport with customers Have excellent communication skills and develop a network of trust and collaboration with all internal and external stakeholders involving Sales, Product Management, HQ and ICB partners Organize the Operations in such a way as to provide the most efficient use of the functional team- Manufacturing, Engineering, customer services & project management focusing on the on- time delivery of the project while exceeding customer expectations. Maintain customer relationships which allow for an escalation process that leads to fair and mutual solution creation. Act as coach to team / strong people management and Customer focus. The Candidate Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrics/Electronics engineering. Professional Qualification and Personal Attributes: 15+ years of experience in Energy Automation systems, good understanding of T&D system 4+ years of direct management responsibilities for a large team in a matrix organization Demonstrated leadership skills Good knowledge and experience in control, protection and substation automation systems both written and verbal Ability to lead a team though change management Must be able to travel 25 to 35% of time.
