Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Create 3D models, baking, texture, LOD and import to engine
  • Create different types of 3D objects - hard surface, soft surface, natural objects, buildings, etc.
  • Good eye, able to quickly grasp different art styles
  • Understand and follow art requirements and specific pipeline depending on projects
  • Complete tasks independently with minimal oversight
  • Promptly learn any new tools or techniques
  • Execute assigned task according to project schedule while meeting quality expectations
  • Perform initial art and technical quality checks using checklist before submitting art asset to Team Leader for review
  • Address feedbacks from Team Leader, Art Director or Client
  • Promptly report to Team Leader about any difficulties encountered
  • Support Junior Artists in completing daily tasks
  • Occasionally travel outside of China to work onsite with the foreign client during pre-production

  • 高质量的完成项目进度表所安排给其的工作
  • 在将艺术作品交送于组长审查前应自行用检查表对初始作品的质量进行检查
  • 解决组长,艺术总监和客户指出的问题
  • 如果发现任何问题应及时告知组长
  • 能够为初级美术师的日常工作提供帮助
  • 偶尔派驻客户工作室(国外)独立处理项目前期准备工作

Qualifications:

  • College degree in Arts, Graphic Design or related fields, with 3+ years of experience
  • Strong 2D skillset, including designing, drawing and mapping
  • Excellent experience in one or more 3D software - Zbrush, 3D Studio Max, Maya, Softimage, etc.
  • Experienced in video games production, understands technical standards and restrictions, and familiar with tools to integrate art assets in-engine
  • Understand different art styles, able to follow specific artistic approaches depending on projects
  • Deep understanding of videogames, passionate about game development
  • Basic English proficiency

  • 专科以上学历(艺术类相关专业)或艺术类相关院校毕业,3年以上3D美术设计经验
  • 熟练掌握2D美术制作,包括设计,绘画,制图等
  • 精通常用3D软件(3Ds Max, Maya, Substance Painter, Zbrush等)
  • 具有游戏软件制作经验,包括了解技术标准和限制条件,使用相关工具将美术元素整合入游戏引擎
  • 了解各种艺术风格并且能够遵循项目需要的艺术路线
  • 深入了解游戏,并且热衷于游戏制作
  • 能够进行简单的英语交流
