Job Description
About this role:
We are looking for an experienced content professional to join our growing International “China Go Global” team in Shenzhen. This individual will play a pivotal role in English content creation, be responsible for developing relationships with top international media and liaise with clients on a regular basis.
The ideal candidate is a native English speaker with a copywriting/content creation background who has a strong interest in becoming a well-rounded marketing communication specialist. You will gain media insights as well as industry knowledge across the mobile internet, smart hardware, and retail sectors. You will also have the chance to play a key role in developing overseas communication plans for many up-and-coming Chinese brands.

Key Responsibilities:
• Content Development – Develop structure and draft content for a variety platforms and styles
• Media Relations – Develop creative story ideas and media strategies, identify suitable media and reporters/influencers, draft pitches and conduct outreach to international media, maintain regular communication with reporters and influencers
• Generate story ideas based on client objectives
• Industry Knowledge and Expertise – Contribute insights based on knowledge and experience in one or more of the consumer technology, mobile internet / APPs, retail, and e-commerce spaces.
• Client Management – Maintain daily liaison with clients to ensure project execution
• New Business – Support and contribute ideas for new and organic business opportunities, develop proposals and participate in presentations for prospective clients.

Skills and Experience:
Essentials
• Native English speaker, preferably bilingual in English and Chinese
• Bachelor's Degree (or above)
• Equipped with around 5 years’ experience in PR/MKT/Media profession, with technology communications experience (preferably within a PR agency environment)
• Comfortable with different writing styles, able to lead/co-lead conceptual and executional copywriting for formal news releases, social posts, biographies, video copy, banner ads, product brochures, speeches, and presentations
• A natural communicator with a solutions-oriented mindset, a quick learner
• Understand social media strategy and best practices
• Well-developed time management skills; an acute sense of urgency

Desired but nonessential
• A desire to lead by example and to take initiative and responsibility
• Open-minded, cross-cultural and eager to work with people from different backgrounds
• Experience with not only traditional media strategies but social media strategy, integrated and digital campaigns
