We are an expanding education conglomerate and are therefore expanding our financial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for month end closing and management reporting, including the preparation of month-end closing, financial reports and analysis, cash flow forecast, bank reconciliations, processing of payroll transactions and provide support on ad-hoc projects.

He / she will mainly liaise with the Chief Financial Officer, Financial Controller and School Supervisor to assist in development, implementation/monitoring of internal control and Corporate policies and procedures when necessary.

Job Responsibilities:  

• Prepare full sets of accounts under guidance, such as cash flow statements, P&L, balance sheet, annual budgets, budget control, etc.
• Monitor cash balance and maintain rolling cashflow forecast
• Prepare consolidated reports for management review
• Assist in preparing statutory audits
• Coordinate of tax filings and liaison with tax authorities
• Assist in development, implementation/ monitoring of internal control and Corporate policies and procedures when necessary
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis when required
• Provide relevant recommendations to senior management and work in accordance to the regulatory compliance and accounting practices
• Assist in internal management reporting such as budgeting

Requirement:

• CPA or ACCA qualification
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
• Advantage if candidate has strong I.T. skills such as basic knowledge of programming language (e.g. VBA) and experience with system implementations such as POS or other similar projects
• Strong technical with Excel (function setting, pivot table), PowerPoint, Word and office suite softwares, experience on Dynamic 365 Business Central is a definite advantage
• Very sensitive and analytical with financial figures, constantly monitor and propose improvement solutions to senior management
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision, well organized, good communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, responsible and attention to detail
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
