Job Description:

• Prepares and reviews journal entries for month end closing processes
• Handles full set of books for small entities within the Group
• Prepares monthly financial schedules requested by other departments, Regional Office and Corporate
• Prepares accounting vouchers for Group companies to comply with the Canadian GAAP & HKGAAP
• Prepares monthly/quarterly reconciliation/schedule, especially on investment portfolios
• Assists in preparing regulatory returns to Insurance Authority and other regulators
• Assists in annual audit and internal audit
• Assists in ad hoc assignments/enquiries as required

Job requirements

• Degree holder in Accounting or equivalent
• Completed HKICPA, ACCA examinations or equivalent
• At least 5 years experiences in accounting field, preferably in insurance industry
• Fluent spoken English and good written skills
• Good knowledge in accounting system preferably having experience in Sun System and advanced PC skills such as MS Excel and PowerPoint
