POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Responsible for monthly and ad-hoc financial/management reports in a timely manner
• Prepare journal entries, review financial accounts, financial reports, financial statements
• Support the line manager in the month end, quarterly and yearend closing by working closely with the Finance Shared Service team, ensuring all entries and reports are completed correctly and within tight timeline.
• Provide information required for consolidation and liaise and coordinate with internal and external auditors on audited issues
• Well-versed with PRC and HK accounting rules to manage the accounting process to ensure data integrity and full compliance with accounting requirements such as PRC GAAP and HKAS.
• Review Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss accounts, Fixed Assets schedules for management
• Support in the yearly budget process, liaise with each department for information collection, compile and prepare analysis, presentation for business review.
• Liaise with internal IT department and external IT service provider to support any business IT requirements
• Review management accounting workflow, documentation and make recommendation to enhance the appropriate internal control, operational control by Policies and Procedures
• Liaise and collect information from each department, compile and generate final reports,
• Support any ah-hoc projects/reports/analysis assigned by line manager.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

• Certified Public Accountant preferred or related discipline,
• Above 2 years of solid accounting experience in medium to large organization, preferably MNC;
• Strong understanding in PRC and HK GAAP is a must Experience in Financial and Management Reporting;
• Experience in IT system management
• Good business sense, patient, and the ability to exercise independent judgment.
• Skills required:

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Hands on experience in ERP systems
• Self-motivation and able to work under pressure independently
• Good Analytical skills
• A strong team player

• Intercultural experience/ability to understand and cooperate with people from different cultural backgrounds
• Occasional business travels are required

• English and Chinese
