Job Description
We are looking for a controller to join our LDA Accounting HUB Western-Europe and Africa (WEA) Accounting team to help us drive our mission to growth as a reliable partner for daily financial questions related with accounting and financial statements topics, while supporting LDA Businesses in its financial accounting requirements. Coordinate the monthly financial closing and ensure that the reporting requirements are fulfilled Ensuring up-to-date reports and analysis/analytical review for the “Accounting & Controlling” management Perform regular critical in-depth reviews of the Balance Sheet and P&L Reviewing annual financial statements (Balance sheet, P&L, Cash Flow Statement, Equity Rollforward and Notes) according to IFRS Coordinating the group consolidation process in the consolidation system Responsibility for first level support/coordination for entities in preparing external and internal reporting according to IFRS as well as for queries related to financial reporting guidelines, chart of accounts as well as accounting and consolidation topics Support and coordination of assigned entities in accounting topics related to legal transactions, e.g., first consolidation, merger, capital measures, liquidation, accounting issues and special transactions etc. Collaborate in the design and implementation of systems innovation projects (SAP4Hanna) Perform and implement controls Participating in or lead projects/sub-projects with accounting/reporting impact, e.g., reorganizations, implementation of new IFRS standards, etc. Does this sound Good? Our perfect candidate must have… Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or similar Several years of work experience in an audit firm, accounting/reporting department or financial advisory services Expert knowledge in IFRS, group consolidation and financial reporting Experienced in SAP R3 Proficient in MS Excel & Office Familiar with accounting related processes and internal control systems Distinct time management skills to keep tight deadlines, flexibility to support ad hoc requirements are necessary Experience with Siemens business is appreciated Advanced knowledge in MS Excel & Office, experience in Power BI is a plus.
