Senior Accounting and Finance Analyst

Job Description
Main function: Applies accounting techniques to classify & record transactions, consolidate and analyze data in accordance with local statutory and USGAAP & SOX requirements Job Responsibilities include: Assists in month-end closings; prepares journal entries, variance analysis, and various financial reports. Vendor / Customer account reconciliations. Develop and perform special projects and analysis as directed by site management. Monitor intercompany AR/AP and clear intercompany invoicing issues. Prepare analysis reports on weekly/monthly basis for sales team. Support facility compliance with statutory, tax, USGAAP/SOX requirements. Prepares a variety of reasonably standard, periodic or end reports, such as cost reports, profit-and-loss statements. Prepares appropriate commentary or explanations relating to report items of particular interest or significance; conducts pertinent investigation of the accounts involved. Input/output VAT registration. Runs local bookkeeping procedures. Provides advice on accounting matters. Perform internal procedures. Cooperation with auditors, tax inspectors. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in the Ukraine Accounting. Strong knowledge and experience of 5+ years in the field of the Ukraine’s taxation. Strong ERP 1C:Enterprise knowledge. Experience in financial forecasting and modeling – will be an advantage. Understanding of US GAAP and SOX – will be an advantage. Fluent Ukrainian speaker; the English language on the level of Upper Intermediate. Detail oriented, with a high degree of accuracy and the ability to work in a multi-task/functional environment. Team oriented, flexible and must be able to work closely with all levels of management and functions. Ability to prepare, analyze and interpret financial analysis/reports. Analytical thinker and forward thinking. Strong sense of responsibility and carefulness.
