Eaton’s Electrical Sector is currently seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position is based at our Cleveland Ohio HQ Location. Must be able to work in the office 5 days a week! This is supporting C Suite level Executives. This position serves as the primary point of contact for the Senior Vice President of Finance & Planning, the Vice President, Strategy & Business Development, the Director of Global Product Lines, the Electrical Sector Controller and their teams. Position Overview: The successful candidate will provide value-added administrative support utilizing previous experience, strong problem-solving ability, balanced judgment, and communication skills. In addition to carrying out typical administrative support duties (e.g. calendar and meeting management, travel arrangements, expense reporting, coordination with support functions like IT, mail room, etc.) this role will also have responsibilities connected to presentation preparation, data collection and analysis, issuance of monthly status reports, and administration associated with key programs. The position will interact locally and internationally with Corporate, Divisions, and Functions. In this role you will: Exhibit a professional communication style in person and over the phone when dealing with internal Executives, and members of numerous outside organizations. Support the preparation of presentations for all meetings including gathering the necessary data to complete the task through multiple avenues in the organization. Lead the coordination of management meetings and completes all preparations for meeting arrangements. Provide coordination and booking of global travel arranging including travel arrangements for visiting guests, customers and clients. Manage internal and external correspondence including scanning and filing as necessary. Maintain effective working relationships with all employees as well as external customers and clients. Provide administrative support including preparation, reconciliation and filing of Travel & Entertainment (T&E) reports, scanning, and filing of correspondence. Demonstrate a high sense of urgency with the ability to act independently. Share responsibility of general operations with other Administrative Assistants. Be responsible for documenting and communicating self-services processes for administrative tasks completed by a variety of functions. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Associate degree from an accredited institution and 5 years of experience as an Administrative or Personal Assistant, with at least 3 years working with Executive-level leaders in a global business. -OR - High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 7 years of experience as an Administrative or Personal Assistant, with at least 5 years working with Executive-level leaders in a global business. Experience in Microsoft Office 365 applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Word, etc. Relocation is not included with this position; only candidates within the 50-mile radius of Beachwood, OH will be considered Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship now or in the future Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution. Five (5) years of experience as an Administrative or Personal Assistant with Executive level leaders with a global business. Position Criteria: Flexible and pro-active; Ability and willingness to perform a variety of important sometimes urgent, confidential, and complex tasks with constantly shifting priorities while maintaining a high degree of discretion and professionalism. Exhibits high degree of reliability and trustworthiness with an ethical approach. Effectively work and partner with people at all levels of the organization, as well as external contacts, customers, suppliers, etc. Ability to problem solve and come up with creative approaches to how work gets done. Operates with a digital mindset, leverages data, digital tools and processes while operating with agility. Strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical ability, and excellent interpersonal skills.
