Senior Administrative Assistant/Administrative Assistant
Department of Chinese

The appointee will be required to (a) provide administrative support to the Department in admission exercise, examinations, student advising, website update, design of seminar posters, etc.; (b) coordinate student internship programme; (c) coordinate student activities and departmental events; (d) coordinate editorial work for the Lingnan Journal of Chinese Studies; (e) provide frontline services to staff and students; and (f) perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Applicants should have (i) a recognized degree with at least one year’s administrative experience, preferably in tertiary education sector; (ii) high proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (fluency in Putonghua will be an advantage); (iii) good computer literacy, including webpage applications and Chinese word processing; and (iv) good communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong sense of responsibility. The appointee should be well-organized, flexible, adaptable and able to work independently.
Salary and Benefits
Commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity.
