Senior Aftersales Systems Operations Specialist

As a key member of our Aftersales Team, you will be responsible for the successful strategic development, planning, marketing and implementation of our BMW and MINI Extended Warranty and Service Inclusive maintenance programs as well as digital tools within Canada.                                                        

  • Oversee the strategic development of current and new Maintenance and Extended Warranty programs.
  • Perform weekly extracts and uploads of data to BMW systems.
  • Monitor and analyze trends to identify potential risks or opportunities.
  • Development of customer and retailer marketing material and content.
  • Responsible for strategic pricing decisions based on cost structure and competitive products landscape.
  • Responsible for developing and finding new sales channels to sell our Extended Warranty and Maintenance programs.
  • Coordinate systems related developments, enhancements, fixes, etc. with IT department (ex AWP, DDR-SPARC).
  • Ongoing reviews and benchmarking competitive data to ensure our products are strategically positioned in the market.
  • Ensure all Extended Warranty and Service Inclusive contracts sold by retailers are properly uploaded into the international warranty system (SPOA).
  • Responsible for fielding all retailer inquiries related to BMW Group Extended Warranty and Maintenance programs.
  • Subject matter expert for Invisible Service topics, including retailer training, vendor steering, integrations, legal/compliance reviews, rollouts, bug fixes, enhancements and overall utilization.
  • Responsible for managing 3rd party vendors including integration within the MyBMW app and other BMW systems, legal and compliance review and contract management
  • Periodic business travel to Retailers for Extended Warranty and Maintenance program training.

                                                                                                                                                               

SHARE YOUR PASSION FOR EXCELLENCE.
  • 3-5 year work experience within automotive industry would be an asset
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the desire to exceed expectation
  • Experience with sales and the sales process
  • Advanced understanding of MS-Office
  • Experience working with marketing agencies or internal marketing teams
  • Experience with AS400 an asset
  • Experience dealing with retailer and internal inquiries
  • Strategic thinker with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proven experience leading a project from development to implementation
  • Capable of effectively managing vendor and supplier relationships
  • Experience with BMW or previous automotive experiences would be an asset
  • Bilingualism would be an asset
