Job Summary

The Automation leads small delivery squads to deliver against demand for End User Services (EUS) capabilities or supports larger delivery efforts from initiation to close, to deliver or support delivery of effective solutions that meet approved customer and business needs.  The role can support any stage in the delivery automation / simplification accountable for specific activities assigned in delivery against larger scope demand items.  This role is also required to follow established delivery management standards and identify possible gap areas for improvement.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

• Develop automation using scripting languages, employs open source software, interacts with APIs, and enables CI/ CD to administer Infrastructure areas like Platform/Cloud/Storage/DB/Middleware/Backup,  visualize metrics, monitor health/ performance/capacity etc
• Implement and operate infrastructure automation solutions across a large and diverse enterprise, including configuration and administration efforts 
• Expert in Shell/Powershell & hands on experience in Python programming
• Good Knowledge in managing / integrating with ServiceNow
• Develop automation orchestration by compare/analysis tools with business requirement
• Integrate test automation scripts and tools into DevOps lifecycle predominantly
• Good knowledge on Continuous integration, Automation and Configuration
• Should have good communication and presentation skills
• Ability to analyse and troubleshoot
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work independently as well as in teams
• Should have knowledge of API integration with monitoring tools, Predictive analysis and selfheal Application
• Work closely with other teams to help discover and eliminate problems by gathering requirements and implementing process automation
• Collaborate with teams and meet expected service levels and exceptional user experience
• Stay up to date with the latest technology trends closely related to the team’s scope of work
• Experience creating and delivering executive level presentations
• Working effectively and cross functionally across the organization, earning trust and building relationships throughout
• Understanding the business problems, working closely with stakeholders, provide pro-active and prescriptive solutions.
• Strong team player with the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage internal and external responsibilities simultaneously

Candidate Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Technical or business degree or relevant proven experience

• Experience leading the delivery of small teams and activities.
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Familiar with delivery methodologies and standards
• Expert in Shell/Powershell & hands on experience in Python programming
