POSITION SUMMARY:

The successful candidate will work as a part of IT operations team to perform daily Cloud platform support of the company’s global IT operations.

The candidate is expected to implement solution and develop procedure for ‘keep the lights on” activities for applications hosted in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure, based on a set of defined guidance and practices. Automation and DevOps are two key characteristics of the solution. Hence, candidate is expected to write script (e.g. AWS CLI script) and develop AWS CloudFormation templates.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide Enterprise IT 24x7 Cloud platform support
• Configure and monitor availability and performance metrics
• Develop and manage resource utilization, billing, and optimization process
• Analyze performance bottleneck based on monitoring data
• Configure and manage security polices, compliance policies, and access controls to AWS/Azure resources.
• Configure and manage audit for AWS/Azure resources
• Develop and operate patch management/backup/restoration procedure
• Develop or update CloudFormation/Resource Manager script to automate provisioning of AWS/Azure resources
• Develop AWS/Azure command line script or CloudFormation/Resource Manager script to automate tasks
• Respond and resolve production incidents related to AWS/Azure resources as well as operating systems running on EC2 instances (e.g. Ubuntu Linux and Windows Server etc.)
• Lead the task force to assist cloud based projects deployment
• Enforce Cloud standards, guidelines and operational policies and procedures in accordance to SOX/ISO20000/ISO27001/ITIL standards

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

• 4+ years Hands-on experience on enterprise cloud environment and virtualization technology will be advantage, e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, VMWare vSphere/View and Microsoft HyperV/RDS etc.
• Possess good working knowledge of Window, Linux, Unix, Java, Shell script, VB.net, C#, JSON
• Hands-on experience on VDI and DBMS will be advantage, e.g. VMWare Horizon View, AWS workspace, SQLServer, Oracle and MongoDB etc.
• Gaming industry exposure will be advantage

Education

• Possess relevant tertiary academic or professional qualifications
• SQLServer DBA, Azure, OCP, AWS or equivalent will be an advantage
