Job Summary
Corporate FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) plays a central role in leading Airbnb's annual strategic planning process and is responsible for forecasting and reporting company-wide financial results to our key internal and external stakeholders. In addition, the team partners with senior leaders across the company to provide analytical support for critical business decisions. The ideal candidate possesses strong financial and analytics experience, the ability to organize and develop a structured approach to address a variety of business challenges, and can get up to speed quickly on a variety of areas.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the Corporate FP&A team during annual planning, quarterly earnings, and monthly forecasting and reporting cycles.
- Drive ad hoc analysis as requested to support strategic initiatives across the team’s coverage areas which include the Finance, Legal, Real Estate, Talent, and Public Policy functions.
- Partner with the Compensation and Equity Administration teams to forecast equity utilization and stock-based compensation for Airbnb.
- Ensure forecast accuracy and drive improvements to financial management and reporting, where needed.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, investment banking, accounting, or related analytical functions.
- Strong financial modeling skills and ability to perform complex analyses to uncover business drivers and generate insights. Experience using Anaplan or other forecasting platforms preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with people at all levels of the organization and make actionable recommendations.
- Highly organized, independent, and self-motivated; commitment to delivering consistently accurate and high-quality work products..
- Mission-driven, enthusiastic to learn and grow within the FP&A organization; team-oriented with a positive attitude.
The starting base pay for this role is between $108,000 and $134,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: education, experience, and skills. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
