About the opportunity

Purpose of your role

This is a technical role at consultant level within Technology Infrastructure Services (TIS), with responsibility for production supports, engineering and project delivery on Network and Security infrastructure.

The role will involve regular BAU (Business As Usual) and 24x7 on-call and weekend support from time to time.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake installation, configuration, maintenance support and troubleshooting for Enterprise Network infrastructure globally
• Make sure operational targets, like SLA and KPIs, are met.
• Collaborate with team members in different regions in a global operation model
• Participate in regional / global projects in Network and Security area and work closely with vendors for project delivery
• Work closely with the Asia Infrastructure team and other global technology teams to ensure we follow Fidelity standards and strategies

  Experience and Qualifications Required

• Degree holder in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years working experience in IT industry preferably in multinational companies
• Hands on experience of managing Network, Firewall and security products including but not limited to Cisco Routing & Switching products, Data Centre Networking, Aruba wireless LAN infrastructure, Riverbed WAN optimization, F5 server load balancing technology (GTM/LTM), Palo Alto firewall.
• Strong hands on managing network protocol and technologies e.g. OSPF, BGP, STP, 802.1q, PIM, HSRP/VRRP
• Broad range of internetworking knowledge and ability to troubleshoot complicated network problems
• Career Certificate holder from market leading vendors with proven track record
• Good analytical skill and able to solve problem logically
• Understand the ITIL based service delivery structure
• Self-motivated to learn and able to work independently
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Good interpersonal skills, project management skills and vendor management skills
• Willing to work overtime and under pressure

  Experience Desired

• Experience of managing Palo Alto firewall, Proxy, VPN IPS, Algosec
• Knowledge of network monitoring systems like SolarWinds
• Experience of UNIX / Linux administration
• Experience of voice and VoIP, like Avaya products
• Experience with Automation using Ansible, scripting, Python and API programming
• Concepts on data centre design
• Concepts on cloud technologies
