Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Month End Close

• Payroll processing – Validation and meeting all statutory requirements
  • Calculating earned leave, Gratuity, PF, employee Insurance cost, PF admin charges and bonus provisions/accruals.
  • Validation of or knowledge on Actuarial valuation, actuarial assumption.
  • Knowledge various labour laws including but not limited PF provision, ESI provision, Income tax provisions in relation to withholding taxes, Form 16, tax declaration and taxation & PF provision in relation to Expats /International workers
  • Audit support i.e. both statutory and tax audit and working knowledge on preparation of various audit schedules like Bonus movement, Payroll to JV reconciliation, Leave encashment and Gratuity movement schedules, Headcount recon and payroll variance analysis 
  • Hands on knowledge on provisions of Indian income tax act in relation to Income from salary
  • Assisting with reconciliation and payment of payroll, social security contribution, professional tax, withholding taxes and all other related taxes and ensuring periodic statutory submission with various regulatory authorities

• CAPEX – Book Keeping and audit support
• Tracking of capital purchases for timely asset capitalization
• Extensive working knowledge relating to Capitalisation of assets for expansion projects
• Review of fixed asset audit schedules
• Forecasting of depreciation based on requirement
• Aiding in FA verification audits
• Knowledge on relevant GAAP, and other governing statutes relating to fixed assets
• Candidate should be well versed in prepare and review of reconciliation and analysis of ledger balances, vendor reconciliation, prepaid Expenses.
• Candidate to review and process non-purchase order’s invoices and other claims
• Coordinate to ensure timely review & closer of vendor, employee open items
• Handling employee and vendor query
• Candidate to prepare accrual/provision
• Candidate to prepare inter-company monthly invoices and able to perform month-end and year-end
• Co-ordinate and assist in the annual audits i.e. Internal/External audits including preparation of various audit schedules and assist the auditors in their inquiries
• Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls.
• Should be aware of Indian tax provisions especially with respect to withholding taxes & GST.
• Import/Export payment and documentation as per FEMA & RBI rules. Experience of handling BRO, LC, CAD etc.

Budgeting

• Work closely with Tower Leads to prepare annual budgets and Quarterly Forecasts. Act as an advisor to department lead in formulating their budget submissions.
• Analyse financial data and extract and define relevant information; interpret data for determining past financial performance and to project a financial probability.
• Financial Statement analysis of Income Statement, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow Statement to derive Forecasts/Estimate consensus.
• Review proposed budget submissions from department for accuracy and completeness.
• Collate final budgeted financial statements with analyses of variances against prior year.
• Prepare budget commentary and analyses for various packs and stakeholders.
• Maintain the budgeting policies and procedures.
• Meet with budget owners monthly to review results, explain significant variances against budget and prior year, and identify actions required to bring the results back to budget where required.

Reporting & Variance Analysis

• Submit monthly management reports and Board Reports with analyses and commentaries to CFO within agreed timelines.
• Preparation of Monthly MISs / KPIs / Dashboards / Other Finance deliverables to be shared with Leadership Team, global business and finance stakeholders.
• Preparation of various flash and exceptional reports. Bring highlight / lowlights to the attention.
• Develop financial models.
• Work with Tower Leads and develop reporting matrix for Business Units.
• Perform statistical, cost, and financial analysis of data reported in the various company reports. Develop financial reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis.

Education & Experience

• CA/ICWA/CPA/MBA (candidates pursuing professional qualifictions can also apply).
•  7-9 Years of relevant experience
• Hands on experience in financial planning & analysis, reporting, accounting and month end close.
• Experience with working on financial management aspects of ITES Companies

Technical Skills

• Extensive knowledge of MS Excel (Building models & reports, analytical tools, consolidation, macros etc.)
• Very well versed in preparation of Leadership decks / slides
• Fimiliarity or exposure to SAP - most of the analytics will be done on SAP data

• Ability to work independently with ownership

• Must have the ability to work closely with personnel from various departments and all levels of management
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Able to deliver on new roles and responsibilities on Adhoc basis
