Job Description

Eaton’s CPD PCD Division is currently seeking for a Senior Analyst.HR.Benefits & Occupational Health to join our team. This position is based at our Arecibo, Puerto Rico facility

Responsible for the administration of the site occupational health services in compliance with company policies, practices, procedures, and applicable regulations. Responsible for benefits administration, changes, orientations and recordkeeping. Leads the wellness programs for the facility and supervise health and benefits services contractors.

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for direct and indirect supervision of contracted health services staff (OMSI).

* Responsible for assuring the appropriate access and utilization of healthcare services.

* Evaluate and treat all injuries and illnesses (occupational and non-occupational) in an efficient and professional manner within the scope of practice and consistent with clinical nursing guidelines.

* Provides guidance and support to employees with outside healthcare providers and services.

* Provides support with the required physical evaluation programs and services to meet regulatory requirement; such as OSHA, Department of Transportation, CDC, Department of Health, etc.

* Participates in ergonomic team to assess jobs and provide input regarding ergonomic improvements.

* Provides support to company’s Drug-Free Workplace Program.

* Assists with the accident investigation program to identify root cause analysis of all incidents and near misses.

* Provides appropriate case management. Manage all cases to facilitate productivity, assuring appropriate care and return to work. Includes workers’ compensation, short- and long-term disability cases. FMLA Leave Administration, ADA compliance.

* Supports Environmental Health and Safety and Hygiene Programs from the physical and/or medical evaluation standpoint.

* Provides support with inactive Employee Records Management.

* Coordinates Doctor and Psychologist services.

* Responsible to maintain a healthy inventory of all of the over the counter medicines, equipment and medical supplies which includes the order and purchasing process.

* Responsible for Payroll completion for hourly employees for Leave of Absences related to Medical in OTL.

* Provides support to employees with Medical Health Plan Pre- Authorization and Reimbursement Process

* Provides orientation related to Employee Assistant Program

* Performs transactions and update information on Oracle/As400.

* Completes monthly Cafeteria Inspections to ensure cafeteria is aligned with our wellness programs and initiatives.

* Participates in Safety Inspections.

* Provides support to employees with the Retirement Application Completion process and all documentation required to complete the process.

* Supports United Way, Employee Engagement, Recognition, Inclusion and Diversity Initiatives / Activities.

* Facilitates New employee Orientation (For Arecibo and other locations as needed. e.g. Canovanas)

* Responsible to develop and maintain occupational health and benefits metrics for decision making in terms of annual wellness/ergonomics initiatives aligned with EHS programs.

Qualifications

Senior Analyst.HR.Benefits & Occupational Health Basic Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related health areas.
Minimum five (5) years working experience in an occupational health environment and benefits administration or related areas.
"Technical knowledge preferable within a manufacturing facility, including but no limited to:
• CPR

• Occupational Hearing Certify prefered

• Basic knowledge in Benefits administration (Health Insurance, Retirements Plan, Savings Plan, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability)

• Experience working with Medical Surveillance Programs

• Experience evaluating Industrial Hygiene Studies and reasonable accommodations efforts.

* Knowledge of Federal & Local Government Regulations (OSHA 300, State Health Department, CDC, etc.)"
