Job Description
Eaton Haina is seeking a Senior Analyst Materials Planning for its Commercial & Residential Distribution Solutions (CRDS) business. This position will be located in Haina, Dominican Republic. Responsibilities include but not limited to plan, control, prepare MPS to achieve desired customer service. Identify planning discrepancies in a timely manner and reconcile those discrepancies constant with customer service, inventory goals, supply capability, factory capacity, and business needs. Essential Functions: Validate marketing forecast and/or load plan and ensure it is achievable through rough cut capacity. Recommend alternative course of action as part of closed loop process to reconcile differences between load plan and unconstrained demand. Responsible for executing Profit Plan targets for Stock Fill Rate, On Time Performance, Freight Cost, Load Attainment, Data Accuracy, Customer Lead-Time and other key metrics as required by site and divisional leadership. Enable production schedulers to drive factory planning process. Direct link to central planning group as applicable. Adheres to standard processes for the department as established by site leadership and/or divisional strategies. Managing inventory stocking strategy (kanban, ROP, etc). Maintain adequate Finished Good inventory levels as per changes in demand. Responsible for data coding and integrity in ERP and/or order management system. Responsible for ECN execution, supersedures (Not applicable for MCCB plant) Scheduling: Manage schedules and inventories to meet required customer service levels, lead times, and inventory turn goals, for assigned product types. Coordinate development of master scheduling process and systems to support process improvements in order fulfillment. Daily follow up of the production plan to make the necessary adjustments depending on the inventory levels of the components. Analyzed and plan daily all open customers’ orders on vista. Based on the capacity of the line and the production load determinate on the SIOP. Daily track of demand and OE pattern to give to material’s team the adjustments needed, based on customers’ requirements. Monitor levels of plan compliance daily. Verify and control inventory levels based on units and amount. Review re- order point and minimum by style to assure they are correct on the system. Responsible for OTP, SFR, IFR, AWSD, Schedule Compliance for all production lines assigned. Create priorities for the line based on MO creations/Management. Create Monthly Production Plan to determine material requirements for three months: SIOP Responsible of creating the forecast built plan and forecast accuracy metric. Coordinate and manage MPS fulfillment with production control and manufacturing to execute monthly build schedule. Provide local leadership and up coordination of projects such as MRP implementation and re-sourcing activities. Identify, manage, and implement opportunities/projects to achieve the key business goals that are based on cost, quality and delivery. Customer Services support: Timely response/ Proactive feedback to miscellaneous customers/Eaton care for the productions lines assigned. Verify the orders that are due to receive it’s daily released from the vista system. Calculate delivery dates for product orders, warehouses "Fill Rate" and Non-Stock. Check the requirements for internal and external customers, in order to ensure timely shipment of goods in compliance with the previously assigned date. Monitor daily stock metric and NS Fill Rate On time Performance, information Fill Rate, Advance Warning shipping delay, Schedule Compliance, Expedite Responses aligning departmental teams. Maintain effective communication process with internal and external customers (Vista Online Expedite, E-mail, telephone) Provide response to customers (internal and external) within a predetermined optimal. Create and update daily customer orders records via Eaton Care. Notify production lines on customer priorities and emergencies. Develop a service-oriented organizational culture, through reports and campaigns. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in industrial Engineer, Business Administration or related areas. Minimum 3 years of experience in Materials, Operations or Supply Chain management in a manufacturing environment. Bilingual (Spanish/English) PC knowledge: Microsoft Office tools, MAPICS, AS400, and MRP. APICS Certification preferable. Project management knowledge and negotiation / interpersonal communication skills.
