This position is located in Beachwood, Ohio and is a hybrid model that will both work from home and in the office. Position Overview: This position is a Lead Analyst role on the Global Financial Services and Systems (GFSS) Purchase-to-Pay team, supporting our global processes and procedures for both Oracle and SAP based systems. The primary responsibilities of this position include providing financial analysis and support for critical control and clearing accounts for the Oracle and SAP accounts payable systems. This role will work closely with many of the GFSS Global Teams as well as Internal Audit, Treasury, SOX and Operations supporting the implementation of accounts payable process improvements and new initiatives in a fast-paced, ever-changing, global environment. In this function you will: Performs Accounts Payable Lead Analyst duties including identifying and documenting functional requirements, creates and executes test plans, validates the conversion or implementation of accounts payable control account balances and other data validation requirements in support of project timelines and deliverables. Reviews and analyzes accounts payable bank account reconciliation details, identifies the root cause of reconciling items and works with the functional teams to implement solutions. Analyzes AP Trial Balance, AP to GL, goods received/invoice received reports, etc. and works to resolve any discrepancies. Performs analysis and reconciliation of accounts payable control accounts due to ledger changes, moves, closures, acquisitions and divestitures Advises customers on complex accounting related questions to ensure accounting issues are resolved according to our internal controls and ensure accurate financial reporting. Works in a team environment to drive improvement in financial processes through tools/systems, automation, and standardization. Cross-train with other Finance Analysts to build skills and experience across the GFSS Team. Performs APPO/GRIR month-end close processes, ensures timely resolution of any issues and achieves month-end close deadlines. Works to resolve customer inquiries achieving GFSS customer support targets while exceeding customer expectations Creates or updates documentation for training and reference purposes as needed.
