This exciting role is part of a our IT team in a large multi-national company. The role offers a broad variety of responsibilities including great learning opportunities. This position is of Senior Thingworx developer in Digital Productivity Value Chain, looking for experienced Thingworx developer, having an experience in cross-platform application development is value addition. This person will be responsible for Thingworx development, deployment of OOTB (FSU) modules to multiple sites and maintaining Thingworx applications. This candidate will also plays the role of code reviews, troubleshooting the issues and support various Thingworx application / modules across the different sectors globally. The ideal candidate is expected to have proven extensive experience in building custom Thingworx applications and should have integration knowledge on IoT Devices. Successful candidate must demonstrate proficiency working in all custom Thingworx application, also responsible to adhere and contribute towards the Enterprise best practices within Eaton and responsible for coordinating support of deployed solutions through Managed Services. •Demonstrate leadership in technical design with ability to identify multiple alternatives to develop and then suggest the best approach considering the situation/need •Translate requirements into technical representations allowing customers/BA to understand how proposed design/solution will meet their requirements. •Work closely with Architects to define design, development and peer review standards. Take ownership of implementing them. •Experience with full-lifecycle development & Deployment of PTC Thingworx applications / modules to multiple sites across the globe •Is able to help troubleshoot complex production problems and implement the proper fix. Reports trends / suggests long term improvements. •Drives the delivery of projects from initiation through development, go-live, and user adoption. •Provides support locally within the region and globally as needed. •Accountable for selected project delivery including all phases of PROLaunch project management. •Regularly communicates and reinforces status, prioritization and timing back to regional leaders and the global organization including the communication of critical success measures, issues, and mitigation strategies. •Works across a collaborative regional team with strong personal management skills in a highly matrixed and virtual environment. •Knowledge on source control tool like ClearCase, TFS, Bit Bucket •Ability to adopt coding standards and quickly master on new concepts/technologies •Provide additional support to on-going projects with task-oriented processes assigned. •Is proactive about identifying problems. Drives continuous improvements. Looks for root cause and permanently resolves problems. Detects patterns in symptoms and identifies long-term, permanent resolutions •Prepares and provides training as required to business process owners and other key stakeholders. •Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal at all levels of the Organization. This position will often work with senior leaders within Business and IT. •The individual should have a good understanding of IT processes, as well as a good understanding of project management methodology. They must be able to identify “best practices” for leveraging existing architectures and improvements aligned with business and IT needs, working across regional and global teams. Qualifications Requirement: 5 or more years Information Technology (IT) experience, especially in a mid- to large sized organization •Strong understanding and Must have hands-on experience on using ThingWorx platform, “cloud (Azure/AWS) development skills/experience •Having knowledge on FSU modules (RTPPM, AMU, CWC) is added advantage •Good understanding in the core concepts and fundamentals of ThingWorx platform like Things, Thing Templates, Thing Shapes, Data Shapes. •At least 3 years experience on Thingworx suite of products •Should have developed at least two application using the ThingWorx platform. •Should have developed and delivered Visualization / UI components using Mashups, Gadgets & Dashboards •Experience in Thingworx IoT Platform, Thingworx EMS , Edge SDK (Java or Net) Thingworx Azure Connector, Thingworx Analytics, Thingworx Enterprise Studio •Experience with Azure Cloud specifically on Azure IoT Hub •Should have experience in commissioning / configuring & connecting sensors and devices to the platform. •Strong knowledge & hands-on experience in Core Java, Java collections. Programming languages (Java, JavaScript/NodeJS, Angular JS, VBNET, ADONET,C), •Hands On in : Java Script, SQL scripting, JSON , XML and Rest API •Strong understanding of OOPS concepts. •Multiple data stores (Postgresql, H2, Cassandra, SQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.) •Common IoT and/or manufacturing protocols (Bluetooth/BLE, MQTT, COAP, AMQP, XMPP, ModBus etc) •Have worked with at least one message queue/broker technology and knowledgeable with common messaging patterns •Previous experience SOA, Restful webservices, microservices, and/or cloud first applications •Comfortable working in Linux and Windows environments, as well as embedded devices •Basic understanding of electrical engineering and/or experience building with raspberry pi/arduino or equivalent hardware platforms Yes!
