Job Description
The Application Support Engineer will represent Siemens Digital Industries Software Product Lifecycle MOM Support by guiding customers in identifying and solving complex issues. This is a technical role that interacts with enterprise-level customers, engineers, and managers to isolate and solve complex Manufacturing Execution System (MES) issues through cogent communications. The support engineer will apply proficient knowledge of Siemens PL MOM MES software and supporting technologies to investigate and resolve problems by making use of problem-solving skills and tools. What will you do? · Setting customer expectations, identifying the problem, isolating the problem and resolving the problem. Responsible for in-depth technical papers and presentations to peers and customer management. · Guide and assist junior support engineers in problem-solving. · Work with minimal supervision on complex issues with wide latitude for independent judgment. What are the requirements? · Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience. · Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in a customer support role. · Proven experience in solving software & application problems. · Effectively communicate to many parties in English and Mandarin. · Strong problem-solving skills in enterprise-level applications. · Ability to learn and apply deep knowledge of Siemens PLM MES. · Technical skills: .Net (C#, VB) and JavaScript, T-SQL and/or PL-SQL. Preferred · Manufacturing/Automotive/F&B/CPG Plant-floor style environments with semi-conductor and/or high-tech electronics experience. · Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle experience (Will be an advantage if certified). #LI-PA1 Organization: Digital Industries Company: Siemens Industry Software Sdn.
