• Work location is flexible.

• Lead the technical support for automotive business segment, including traditional interior & exterior application, and has the overall technical responsibility to support EVB market application. 

• Technically support the commercial team for new customers and/or new application development with existing products. 

• Initiate lab testing, determine test protocol,  and provide report results to customer for new applications 

• Provide process support to customers for tape laminating, die cutting, and part application

• Scope opportunities for potential new products with customers and sales 

• Act as project leader for mix-match level new product development on assigned projects.   

• Interact with customers during project definition through customer trials and to commercialization

• Support  R&D and commercial teams for new product launch

• Analyze the market trends and competitions, and support commercial team to identify the unmet needs of the market, and feedback to R&D for new product development opportunities

• Support R&D team to collect and understand customer requirements, and translate to CTQs

• Provide technical and application trainings internally and externally

• Support quality team for complaint handling and on-site customer troubleshooting 

• Bachelor degree above,  preferably with a background in polymer science or other related discipline

• At least 3 years working experience in adhesive, PSA tape, coating related industries, automotive industrial or EVB related field experience would be preferred.

• Good communication skill for both internal and external

• Working proactively and good teamwork spirit

• Good knowledge on ISO 9001, IATF 16949

• Familiar with APQP, PPAP, MSA, FMEA and SPC

• Excellent command of English

• Expected travel is 50% of time
