The role
We are keen to talk to talented senior architect about opportunities in our Shanghai studio; experienced design architect to deliver complex projects through to a successful completion. Skills in concept development and communication are important, as is the ability to lead highly motivated design and document teams. This position is a senior level within HASSELL and may lead to Associate level nomination for the right talent.
About you
- A talented, focused and driven designer who has worked with major design firms
- 8 -10 years of relevant experience at leading design of complex projects in China and Asia
- Have worked with key multi-national clients to develop design from Inception to Schematic Design stages
- Ability to present ideas confidently to client and statutory authority groups
- Have worked directly with senior leadership group on all aspects of design and is able to put forward new and creative ideas and challenge the norm
- Ability to lead and have led design teams on complex projects
- Ability in mentoring our emerging designers across the Asia region
- Proficiency in Rhino, Revit and InDesign with exceptional graphics
- Fluent in both English and mandarin
