Located in London’s Fitzrovia, the studio is home to over 300 creators working across Mill VFX, Mill Direction and Mill Experience projects. The London creative community often gathers on The Mill’s rooftop bar and terrace, which plays host to a number of industry and staff events. 

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Asset Artist to join our Shanghai studio for upcoming projects, helping to create CG to the highest standard across a wide variety of projects, from creative and award-winning advertisements, stunning game trailers to movie work.

The Assets Artist demonstrates mastery of the toolsets, techniques and workflows required to effectively create assets of the highest standard, both technically and artistically.

 

Responsibilities

·     Asset creation for characters, creatures, vehicles, and props (modelling, scultping, texturing, look dev)

·     Consistently look for a more efficient way of modeling and look development.

·     Troubleshoots cross-department Asset-related issues, and identifies and drives efficiencies of any areas

·     Briefs and oversees the assets work completed by the Bangalore assets teams

·     Managing workloads to deliver on time, even with tight deadline

Qualifications

·     Solid knowledge of anatomy, sense of design, form, scale and proportions in space

·     Strong working knowledge of Maya, zBrush, Mari, Photoshop, Nuke, Arnold renderer and CG production pipeline tools

·     Strong knowledge with secondary 3d / 2d software packages, e.g. Marvelous Designer, Substance Painter

·     Clear and confident communicator

·     English and Mandarin preferred but not essential
