Job Description

Reporting to Strategic Planning and Operations Manager, this Senior Associate, Business Analysis will contribute to Amgen’s business success through formulation and strong collaboration with internal and external customers (Distributors) of marketing strategies that supports a profitable and competitively positioned brand.

Accountabilities

Marketing

  • Crafts, develops and execute marketing strategy to drive distributors within Philippines
  • Contributes to development of Brand Plan by Distributor with focused on Osteoporosis and Oncology Portfolio
  • Collaborates with Distributor to ensure that marketing plan is cascade and tactical plans are implemented
  • Ensures that Brand performance indicators are analyzed
  • Complies with Amgen marketing standards within brand and ensures full application through use of common processes, templates and systems
  • Reviews and closely monitor implementation plan of Distributors to ensure achievement of targets

Market Access

  • Works cross functionally to develop value propositions and market access strategies to relevant portfolio
  • Contributes to the development and evaluation of innovative pricing strategies
  • Fosters key relationships with external stakeholders/payers, developing innovative solutions for patients and the broader healthcare system

Business Analysis, Outcomes & Financial Management

  • Supports Strategic Planning and Operations Manager and Business Development Manager in achieving Sales & expense targets for brand/s and other administrative requirements and business-related matters (licensing, registration, filings etc.)
  • Assist Strategic Planning and Operational Manager on business analysis, promotional expenses management and tracking

Leadership & Management

  • Consistently demonstrates the Amgen’s  Leadership Behaviors
  • Brand objectives are supported by internal and external stakeholders

Cross Functional Integration

  • Strong reciprocal relationship within AMGEN and Distributor is developed and maintained
  • Internal and external enquiries are promptly and accurately responded to

Requirement

  • Graduate of Business, preferably Marketing.
  • Has a minimum experience of 5 years in sales and/or marketing management, market access experience in the pharmaceutical industry or 2 years in product management in other industries.
  • Exhibits analytical and conceptual thinking competencies
  • Good planning and organizing skills
  • Has basic knowledge on Brand portfolio / Product management
  • Knowledge on sales and industry practices
