Amgen is seeking a specialist to join the Amgen Contract Development and Manufacturing (ACDM) Organization analytical team. The location could be based out of either Thousand Oaks, CA or Cambridge, MA office and could exist in a virtual setting. The ACDM specialist will support the analytical team by leading change control records for various external vendors and support the team’s continuous improvement initiatives. The ACDM group this position is with develops the external analytical sourcing strategy for Amgen and drives implementation of the strategy across the development portfolio.

Senior Associate Contract & Development Manufacturing

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and own Trackwise records for deviations, CAPAs and change controls records for ACDM analytical team
  • Work cross-functionally with other internal Amgen teams such as Attribute Sciences, Quality, Supply Chain and Regulatory partners to ensure records are initiated and completed in a timely manner
  • Drive timely decision-making using DAI principles
  • Provide tactical information of the networks (i.e., metrics, data verification, trending)
  • Train on required quality systems
  • Call out risks or roadblocks to management
  • Drive continuous improvements

Basic Qualifications

  • Master’s degree OR
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience OR
  • Associate’s degree and 6 years of experience OR
  • High school diploma / GED and 8 years of experience
