Senior Associate Scientist - Analytical Chemistry

What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will support drug discovery teams through the development and use of chromatographic and/or spectroscopic methods for the analysis and purification of small and hybrid molecules (peptides, siRNA, oligonucleotides) to support drug discovery activities. Utilization of a diverse set of instruments and technologies, such as (but not limited to) HPLC, SFC-MS, HPLC-MS, mass-directed purification and preparative SFC are necessary. The successful candidate is also expected to assist in research efforts directed at improving process efficiencies, expanding the range of assays and applications and improving technologies and infrastructure.

Basic Qualifications:
Master's degree and 3 years of scientific experience
OR
Bachelor's degree and 5 years of scientific expereince
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Bachelors or Master’s degree in organic chemistry, analytical chemistry
- 6+ years of relevant experience with chromatographic analysis and/or purification of small molecules in a pharmaceutical R&D environment.
- Exposure to LC/MS, mass directed purification, analytical/preparative SFC
- Knowledge of other analytical techniques (NMR, MS)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
