The Bank of New York Mellon seeks a Senior Auditor II in Jersey City, NJ to draw on extensive experience and/or specialist skills including technology, advanced operational knowledge, and modeling to plan and deliver audits. Responsible for ensuring testing or other tasks as applicable to a specialty is adequately thorough to allow an evaluation of the adherence to company policies and procedures, audit methodologies, and all applicable regulations. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: Reviewing the configuration and security settings within the databases of a financial system and applicants using Oracle, MS SQL, DB2, Sybase, and IBM Mainframe; Utilizing core and advanced concepts in data analytics including Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Process Mining; Integrating concepts within regulatory environment and financial services industry into the audit processes; Reviewing the configuration and security settings within the operating systems of the financial systems and applications using Windows and UNIX; Managing the testing of business systems and applications as per audit policies, methodologies, and standards; Utilizing data analytics and substantive testing to test the operative effectiveness of key controls; Supporting the Financial Distributed Trading System by reviewing trading algorithm and platforms; and Performing sample and full population testing for systems development and application security.
