The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Data Governance & Business Insights team at AIA to revolutionise the way we deliver data to support our business initiatives. This is your chance to Make a Difference as we will rely on you to recommend and introduce new techniques, tools and standards to improve our speed to service with high data quality for data-driven decision making across the enterprise. We're open to applications from Sydney and Melbourne.
To do this successfully you will:
Develop, manage and maintain the data warehouse to meet new and changing business requirements
Partner with key stakeholders to ensure risk assessments are conducted and mitigated on strategic data initiatives
Build greater agility in our current data processing & automations for reporting
Maintain the data dictionary and relevant documentation for the DataMart
Provide technical assistance, troubleshoot and resolve data-related concerns.
Successful applications will demonstrate:
Undergraduate degree or diploma in Technology or related discipline (preferred)
Strong data warehouse experience in SQL (SSIS, SSAS and SSRS essential)
Industry experience in the life insurance (highly regarded)
Delivery and customer focused mindset
Great attention to detail and time management skills
