Work with development team and liaise with business users to convert requirements into BI technology solutions (e.g data modeling, ETL and report). You will also need to provide strongly support to make sure the existing BI applications running smoothly and efficiently.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Design/Develop data model based on biz requirement (30%)

• Analyze and estimate business requirement
• Translate business requirement into data model
• Design and implement ETL or report according to the functional spec
• Prepare for design spec, unit testing doc etc. and need to follow up the criterion of SDLC.
• Work across various data domains including: Transactional Data Stores, Operational Data Stores, Master Data, Data Quality, ETL and Data Warehouse/Analytics.

2. Systems Support & Maintenance (25%)

• Troubleshooting for existing BI applications and ensure their stability.
• Hands on incident management and follows up of application systems issues.
• Ensure the incident is response and resolved within the SLA.
• Hands on systems upgrade & testing.

3. Project delivery (20%)

• Engage in or lead project through the whole project lifecycle.
• Accomplish/deliver project delivery within schedule/budget/scope with high quality.

4. IT Processes & User Satisfaction Improvement (15%)

• Comply with  IT standard processes to build BI platform to improve on working efficiency.
• Deliver Data solution to improve IT service for user.

5. Participate in vendor's management (10%)

• Review delivery quality from vendors
• Coach vendors to follow up IT development standard and process
• Monitor the risk and progress of some important tasks

Minimum Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence and Data Warehouse technology
• 5+ years of experience in database and ETL tool(DataStage/Informatic/…etc.)
• 2+ years of relevant experience in creating and maintaining UNIX/Linux scripts
• 2+ years of relevant experience in optimizing SQL scripts, familiar with DBMS like Oracle, IBM DB2, MS SQL Server…etc.
• Relevant experience in developing reporting with SAP Business Objects(Crystal Report) is a plus.
• Strong fundamentals on BI/DW Concepts including ETL, reporting, etc.
• Can design BI solutions independently.
• Manage multi tasks in parallel efficiently.
• Quick learner and strong willingness in learning new technologies
• Self-motivated and willing to work with others or work independently under a high pressure
• Be able to work flexibly to take conference call or work for production support in non-working hours
