Eaton’s Corporate Sector is currently seeking a Senior Benefits Specialist Administration of Health and Welfare to join our team. Remote work is available. Position Overview: Eaton’s Senior Benefits Specialist Administration of Health and Welfare will lead administrative function for health and welfare, including oversight of ERISA rules and other regulatory requirements, COBRA administration, benefits integration for Acquisition and Divestitures, health and insurance enrollment and annual enrollment requirements, benefits eligibility and integration with new design elements, Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliance. This position will also support 27K US employees and over 50K total members. As well as supporting key M&A benefits integration projects, union plan designs, and leads operational functions within Benefits Center of Excellence. Also, overseeing our vendor relationships with key welfare vendors and oversees communication for all benefit designs including compliance and regulatory functions. And leading multi-disciplinary efforts with HRMS, payroll, HR Technologies to ensure accuracy of data flows to record keeper and all Health and Welfare downstream vendors. In this function you will: Serves as a benefits SME to both internal and external stakeholders Manages benefits vendor partners including eligibility, life/ADD, Formulates opportunities for improvement in enrollment and record keeper systems Maintains knowledge base on compliance and regulatory trends and issues Leads US vendor integration efforts ensuring appropriate metrics, dataflows, contracting and PG’s are in place Helps develop communication material to highlight benefit programs and for Annual Enrollment Ensures plan compliance with regulations including HIPAA, ERISA, ACA, section 125 Why work at Eaton? Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. In lieu of bachelors degree 10+ years of benefits administration experience is required. Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future Preferred qualifications: Vendor Management Strong analytical skills and ability to present and utilize metrics Experience with performance analysis tools and techniques (e.g., needs analysis, root cause analysis, flow charting/ process mapping, job roles and responsibilities mapping, developing performance measures, etc. Experience effectively managing client relationships. Superior communication skills in the English language (written and spoken). Position Criteria: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (particularly Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) Administrative functions for Health and Welfare (retirement plans would be a plus) including: Fidelity (HW and retirement record keeper) and UBS (retiree administration) oversight Oracles HRMS interface with Fidelity through Single Client Feed (SCF) Eaton internal payroll integration for benefits deductions, billing functions, administration of grandfathered benefits, including manual interfaces that occur outside central administrators, leads benefit eligibility and administrative questions concerning current and new programs.
