Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

The Senior Bid Coordinator is attached to the Sales organization, and supports the bid management team and activities across the Regulated Industries business.

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • lead commercial proposals in response to RFI/RFP projects of variable size, scope, region, complexity and duration
  • digest complex project briefs
  • create, collate, coordinate, update, rephrase, review and copy-write information of various nature and form (text, numbers, screen shots, signatures, visuals, forms, collateral, etc.)
  • orchestrate projects to drive success
  • communicate heavily with peers and across the business to maintain current knowledge of processes, people and technologies
  • take the lead with financial / legal projects
  • manage multiple SMEs across the organization in accordance with multiple concurrent deliveries
  • liaise with a network of service providers in parallel as needed (print professionals, proof-readers, copy artists, creative agency, etc.)
  • use, update and maintain dedicated content repositories (online and offline)
  • do administrative tasks such as project schedules, project notes, research, call minutes, file management, design and format

 

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

 

  • English native or near-native speaker (Europass level C1);
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Advanced command of Spanish; French will be a plus (Europass level B2)
  • Recent Language industry experience is a must
  • Service-oriented mentality and “can do” culture
  • Documented experience with financial, legal or life sciences disciplines and markets
  • Experience with content management and taxonomies is a plus
  • Advanced organizational, creative, and analytical skills
  • Content enthusiastic and detail-oriented
  • Pressure-resistance and effective listening
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize
  • 3 years professional experience in a bid management role, content authoring or pre-sales function
  • Experience with project, document and process management, content processing, language software, journalism, technical writing or content marketing will be considered
  • Excellent command of Office suite; design applications can be a plus
  • Familiarity with the language technologies and the Cloud is a strong asset: Translation Management Systems, Computer Aided Translation (CAT) Tools, Machine Translation,
